Geospatial technologies have been integral in the timely response to COVID-19, with activities including mapping of cases, assessing the vulnerability of various communities and populations, and analyzing spread. These types of technology have also been useful in determining the way forward for many countries, including the future planning of urban spaces and the expansion of services in the information technology sector.
